I grab ideas
Like a child grabs at loose leaves.
I know, that someday,
They will dry up and crumble
When I touch them. But for now,
They are still shining,
With the morning dew.
When I hold them to the light,
I can see the veins
Of new promises.

Excerpt from Mary Oliver's 'Invitation'
"Oh do you have time
to linger
for just a little while
out of your busy
and very important day...
...It could mean something.
It could mean everything.
It could be what Rilke meant, when he wrote:
You must change your life."
